Memorial Day Essentials

Excited is an understatement that Memorial Day is finally upon on! I absolutely love living in the Hamptons, and suddenly the weather has warmed up, the beaches are open, the trees are all in bloom and the energy that is the Hamptons has returned to our beautiful streets. I love the energy of all of the villages that make up the Hamptons, whether you are running, walking, biking or strolling though town for ice cream after dinner you can't help but feel it.
But maybe the Hampton's isn't your spot, maybe it's the Shore (which I love too!), either way I think we are all so excited that the cruel weather is behind us and sunny beach days are ahead.
So, here's the question what are you packing for your Memorial Day getaway??? Here are a few beach weekend essentials...

First of all we need a great weekend bag to pack all of our essentials in and I love this one from Maaji, big enough for all of our essentials and not too big to schlep on the Jitney or train.

If you are lucky enough to be staying with friends in the Hamptons or the Shore this weeekend you definitely need a cute pair of PJ's to lounge around in and this set from Eberjey is perfect, wear the slouchy top  with shorts or pants

For stolling through town, the boardwalk or the farmers market don't forget to pack a pair of great vintage Levi's, (i don't go anywhere without mine), pair them with this  Rails button down,  these classic neutral sandals from Ancient Greek, a cool tote, and an awesome pair of sunglasses like this pair from Karen Walker

And last but definitely not least the sunscreen, please remember the sunscreen it may be cool on the beach but the sun is strong!!
I always use Neutrogena Age Shield on my face, my boys who are always either in the ocean or in the pool love this Ocean Potion Clear Zinc, it never runs into or burns their eyes, and to be completly honest I always have plenty of
Up & Up Sunscreen on hand
