Lucchese Boots

Years ago I worked in a great store called Efrem. Efrem sold the coolest Pelle Pelle Jackets, Al Beres belts, the most gorgeous Robert Comstock leather and of course cowboy boots, boy oh boy did we sell cowboy boots! It was the height of the cowboy boot craze in the early nineties and this store was the store you went to for cowboy boots on Long Island. We sold the most sought after boots from  Justin , Tony Lama or Larry Mahan but if you wanted to make a cowboy boot statement you bought a pair of Lucchese's.
Lucchese was one of the premier handmade boot makers of that time.
I have always thought of Lucchese strictly as a cowboy boot company, but while going through October's Bazaar I stumbled across a gorgeous boot, Prada, Jimmy Choo, I thought, but when I looked further it was Lucchese. Right then and there I had to go to  Lucchese.com to see what I have been missing all of these years, and I am obsessed with these all of these amazing boots!
