Jumping for Jumpsuits

Holiday shopping seems to start earlier and earlier every year. Halloween just ended and Thanksgiving and Hanukkah are quickly approaching, Hanukkah in November can you believe it??? Thanksgivukkah is what this phenomenon is being called. The two holidays last collided in 1888 and will not collide again for over 77,000 years.
Crazy! But not really the point, the point is what are we going to wear once these holidays start. What will we wear to travel, what will we wear when we are stuffing our faces at the holiday table or dancing the night away at a great holiday party.
I'm digging the Jumpsuit as a great alternative to the typical holiday attire, casual or dressy, for travel or a party. Many of these styles are even quite forgiving while still looking chic, and what's better than being comfortable and still looking chic?

I always seem to be resurrecting things from my closet. I am not a pack rat but I do tend to hold on to classic pieces that I foresee wearing again in the future. One thing that I have been holding onto for the last 15 years is a black wool funnel neck cape, well maybe more poncho than cape. Every year I pull it out but for some reason I just never throw it on.
I am seeing Capes everywhere this season, from sweaters to outerwear, in all price points from Alexander McQueen to Forever 21.
I love the classic style of the Cape and I think after this season the Cape may be here to stay.
