Better Beauty

So as many of you know, I recently became a consultant for Beautycounter! Yay!!!!

Now I'm not someone who eats organic and gluten free and uses natural products...I'm more the candy eater and buy whatever from the drugstore kinda girl...

With that being said I have been using only Beautycounter products for the last 3 months and I can honestly say my skin has never looked better. Yes I still have wrinkles and sun spots because all the products in the world can't erase years of sun damage, but they are minimizing, and my skin is clearer and...and...I can't describe it...it just looks better.

It's funny people make such a point of  giving their family organic milk, and fruits and vegetables, grass fed beef and cage free eggs, because we are so worried about hormones and pesticides but when it comes to skin care and cosmetics it's a free for all...

Did you know that the US has not passed a major federal law to regulate the safety of ingredients in personal care products since 1938???  Over the last twenty years the European Union has banned almost 1400 chemicals in personal care products and has restricted the levels of over 250 more products...the United Stated has only partially banned 30...meanwhile here in the US cancer, asthma, infetitlity are all on the rise...due in part to the toxins we are exposes ourselves too.

So it's baby steps for me...and switching to Beautycounter has been my first step to safer beauty and I have loved it every step of the way...I truly do love the products...they feel good...they smell good... they make my skin look good...and best of all they are good for me!

Ok...so the Cleansing Balm I use this 1x a week as a mask, I slather it on and sleep with it...a little goes a long way, you can also use it as a daily cleanser, use it on dry cuticles it is a multi-tasker (i linked the travel size because it is on the pricey side and a little goes a long way but it does come in the full size too)
Dew Skin Moisturizing Coverage, this is a Best Seller, I love this and use this everyday! If you want full coverage this is NOT for you, this gives you a sheer dewy coverage, I use #2 but almost feel like i could do #3 too...
