Designer Duds for Less

On yesterday's post I featured a red Celine Clutch from The Real Real, If you are not familiar with The Real Real it is a luxury consignment shop filled with pieces from designers like Celine, Chanel and Cartier, which have all been authenticated. If you love shoes and bags as much as I do you know that they often come with a pretty hefty price tag. Sites like The Real Real give you a chance to own a designer piece for a fraction of their original price, and yesterday's clutch is such a great example the price of the clutch originally was probably in the $1100 range, on The Real Real yesterday it was priced at $495 and now today it is $396. A bag like this is a classic and at $396 a great purchase from a great designer, but before you do make a purchase from a site like this really read the description carefully, and really look at all of the photos before you commit, often the items are final sale so make sure you know what you are buying before checking out!
