South of the Border Style

One of our favorite vacations spots is Mexico. As a child my family vacationed in Mexico and now my Husband and I love to travel to Mexico with our kids.
As a kid on our trips to Mexico, my sisters and I would always stock up on little silver rings and woven friendship bracelets. Things haven't changed so much for me, I love to scour the flea markets and street vendors looking for belts, bags, bracelets, anklets, handmade toys anything i can get my hands on.
When I am itching for Mexican style treasures I don't have to hop on a plane (although i would love too), there are plenty of great finds right at your finger tips....

I  am totally obsessed with these stunning one of a kind handmade bags made by the Wayuu tribe in Colombia, South America,  check out Chila Bags for these amazing bags

The beading on these Antik Batik Sandals reminds me of a beaded clutch I bought in Cancun years ago

Nothing says Mexico to me like a friendship bracelet like this one from Chan Luu
This embroidered top from Free People reminds me of tops you may find in the markets in Playa del Carman

I love the look of this dress from Kate Moss for Topshop
How amazing are these boots from Mexicana, perfect to wear with the dress above

This Vanessa Mooney cuff screams Mexico to me
You can always find hand tooled like this one all over the flea markets and would look great with a light summery dress like this one
Tacos & Tequila, need I say more???
